Hunch Manifest Inc dba Schema App is a Canadian Controlled Private Corporation. As we grow and evolve, we are required to collect sales tax for sales made to certain locations.
In Canada, sales tax will be added to all invoices with the rate varying based on billing address (GST/HST registration 812041119RT0001).
- Province of Ontario 13%
- Atlantic Provinces 15%
- Rest of Canada 5%
For US states, registration is based on a number of aspects (activity in the state, sales earned in that state and whether the state collects a tax for Software as a Service). Sales tax will be added to invoices whose billing address is in the following states at the following rate:
- Massachusetts (6.25% on Software only)
- Texas (6.375% – 8.25%)
Please note that more states may be added based on periodic Nexus reviews.
We collect this money and remit it to the appropriate government agency that is requiring us to collect it.
